Magdaline Mathenge
Magdaline is a certified Trainer of Trainers with deep expertise in male engagement in the fight against GBV, gender and youth development as well as empowering adolescent girls and young women in high-risk and underserved contexts. She empowers communities through evidence-based interventions that build confidence, agency, and life skills, enabling young women to navigate their bodies, relationships, and environments with autonomy and dignity.
She has designed, coordinated, and delivered programs that integrate life skills, gender norms transformation, and protection focused education, establishing girls only safe spaces and supporting young women facing layered vulnerabilities including poverty, violence, and social exclusion. Wangeci’s grounded, feminist approach ensures that trust, dignity, and girls’ voices are at the center of every cause she takes up.
Away from her professional work, Wangeci enjoys quiet nature walks, discovering new reads, and spending time volunteering-moments that help her recharge and stay grounded.
